Today is the day that my eldest daughter is spending a day at Luther College High School to see what a day in the life of a high school student there is like. It is a perfect day for this given that her public elementary school has a day off for a teacher development day. So, my younger daughter and I are traveling around Regina looking for things to do. One of our stops is the Regina Floral Conservatory. We've been to the Conservatory in the past but it has been a few years since we visited together.
Today turned out to be a great day to come given that the Conservatory's bird of paradise was in full bloom. I didn't realize that the Conservatory even had one of these plants. It was a glorious sight to behold. I'm glad that we stopped by and we were able to capture of few pictures of this extraordinary plant.
We spent about 40 mins here looking at the various displays and taking pictures of the plants that were largely in full bloom. This was a great way to spend a cold day inside a nice and warm (and humid!) conservatory complex!
