Today is the last day of Easter vacation. So, the kids and I decided to make another trip out into the city, this time to the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina's premiere art gallery. It has been a while since the kids and I went there. Once again, due to COVID, we haven't been to many places in the last two years. So, it was nice to go back and take a look.
Unfortunately, the Gallery is between exhibitions and it was only half open. The MacKenzie is currently preparing for a major show that will start in about a week called Radical Stitch. We'll likely head back to see this as it looks rather interesting.
For today though, we took a look at what was on display from the MacKenzie's in house collection. There were some interesting works. It was a quiet and relaxing way to spend part of the afternoon.
