Merry Christmas 2019!

Although I am not an overtly religious person, I think that it is important to acknowledge and celebrate the Christmas season (at least here in Canada).  May everyone have peace, joy, and happiness in their hearts and souls today and throughout the next few days heading into New Year 2020.

I sincerely hope that 2020 is a great year for everyone.  I personally am going through a lot of change and 2020 will definitely present me with many new opportunities and challenges.  I hope that it is the same for you.

All the best in the new year.

On Monday, December 23 we went to the Candy Cane Lane Christmas light show in north Regina.  This is the first year that my family and I have been to this event.  One entire crescent in the Normanview neighbourhood is put to one-way traffic and one house in particular puts together a spectacular Christmas light and decoration show.  The amount of effort putting this together (not to mention the cost of electricity!) is amazing.  Fees collected go to charity.  I took a number of pictures but had to do so on my cell phone given that the camera that I brought along had a very weak battery.  So much for tending to my photographic devices...
