Zen: Riding the Bull Home

In my continuing attempt to learn more about and develop a Zen practice, I am continuing to listen to the retreat talks put on by Lotus Vu for the Regina Zen Sangha.

In this talk, Lotus discusses the difference between Pure Land Buddhism and Zen, along with the commitment and discipline required to become a Zen practitioner.

I definitely have a long way to go to develop enough discipline to succeed in a daily practice.  It is such a great way to relieve stress and suffering. I always feel better after attending the Sangha on the Saturday mornings when I was able to go. The Sangha has paused for the summer but will be starting up again in September.  Until then, I will continue to listen to these talks and get myself ready for the next session.

Thanks Lotus for making these talks available.
